Professor Li

Xian Li is CCP Branch Secretary and Vice Director of Beijing Transport Institute, and professor-level senior engineer.

She has been engaged in the research of urban comprehensive transportation planning for nearly 30 years, and has undertaken more than 50 transport planning and research works in Beijing, including the research of transport macro-strategy, regional comprehensive transport planning, five-year transport development planning, as well as research of public transport, pedestrian bicycle system, hub station, Olympic transport and other special planning.

She has won two prizes of Science and Technology Award of Beijing Municipality, one prize of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, one prize of the China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association, one prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Highway and Transportation Society, and four prizes of the Science and Technology Award of the Beijing Highway Society.

Ms. Li has been awarded the titles of "Excellent Party Member of Beijing Urban Construction System", “Model Worker of National Transportation System", "Ten Outstanding Women" in the Capital, "the National March 8th Red Flag Bearer" and “National Model of Women Making Achievements” .
